Few areas of scientific inquiry hold more excitement and hope than stem cell research.  Recent rapid advances in the field have seized international attention and for good reason—stem cells have the potential to cure and treat many of the world’s most devastating diseases and medical conditions.

The Southern California Stem Cell Consortium is a group of doctors, scientists and researchers in the broader Southern California academic and biomedical research community who meet monthly.  The meetings are very interactive with the goal not only of being educational (including constructive critique of experiments and projects), but also of fostering collaborations in an attempt to help one another uncover the healthcare potential of stem cells.
