About Us

Dr. Evan Snyder of The Burnham Institute established monthly meetings of the Program in Stem Cell & Regeneration Biology as a critical component of the curriculum for those with primary and secondary academic appointments to the Stem Cell/Regeneration Program at the Burnham Institute.  In doing so, Dr. Snyder decided that the meetings could serve as an infrastructure for a Southern California Stem Cell Consortium.  The purpose of the Southern California Stem Cell Consortium is to collaborate amongst stem cell researchers in the broader Southern California biomedical community.
